In case you’ve been living under a rock or you just don’t care about Batman (why the hell are you reading this blog?), Batman: Gotham Knight, the feature-length film that ties together six stories of Batman all produced by various anime directors and screenwriters, was released not too long ago. I figured I should mention it.

Now, I haven’t seen it yet (and probably won’t until I find a job), but I still encourage everyone else to get out there and help the economy. Here’s why: 1) Remember how much you loved the Animatrix? Well, it’s back, and this time it’s Batman. Why haven’t you bought it yet? Okay, there’s more. 2) Kevin Conroy from Batman the Animated Series (and every other animated series with Batman) is doing the voice for Bats. I’m not necessarily a voice actor fanboy, but I will say that whenever I read a Batman comic, it’s Kevin Conroy’s voice I hear in my head. 3) Killer Croc is in it. He may not be your favorite villain, but when you see him take a bite out of a car, toss it aside, and yell towards our favorite protagonist, “And now the main meal!”, it’s pretty badass. Of course, this may mean that we’ll never see Croc in a future Batman movie, but Warner Brothers has never really been a stickler for canon. 4) Did I mention it has Batman?
