Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe vs. Soul Calibur IV vs. LEGO Batman

Published by bill_finger at 2:24 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

In addition to LEGO Batman, another game competing for my fifty-nine dollars and ninety-nine cents in a few months is the Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe game.  Of course, there’s also Soul Calibur IV. . .  Boy, I really need a job.

Anyways, the World’s Collide site was just updated with some screenshots and large promotional posters that aren’t wallpapers.  There’s also a list slowly updated with featured characters, but if you trust Wikipedia more (which I do) the official roster for the game currently includes Batman, Superman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Captain Marvel (erroneously labeled “Shazam” on the official site), and two Batman villains–the Joker and Catwoman.

That’s all well and good, but the website seems to imply that the entire game will only include sixteen characters in total (eight from each universe).  That seems a paltry number when compared to Soul Calibur IV’s 34 characters (plus a create-a-character feature) or the 35 characters available in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  I really, really need a job.

I’m not telling you to buy it yet, but the official site can be seen here .  Gameplay footage here:

Batman would share this. . .

I’ve resisted buying a new gaming station for the last several years but….I might have to. Superman is my hero ():o)

I have to admit, SOUL CALIBUR IV’s inclusion of Vader and Yoda has me itching to play it!
