Robin is Dead

Wouldn’t you know it? It wasn’t more than a day after I wrote this post , gearing up for the release of CW’s The Graysons — a Smallville-type series about Dick Grayson before he became Robin — that Variety reported Robin’s been killed (don’t mind the four day difference).
And guess who’s responsible? Our old friend Jeff Robinov , the comic book property owner who hates comic books. He apparently gave the green light for the project last month, but then “changed his mind.” He didn’t want to do “anything big with a DC franchise at the moment.” Robinov is a “douchebag.”
There’s talks of another replacement show for Smallville, but I’m putting my money on a Green Arrow series, since the network is mind-bogglingly in love with him. If Robinov is right, we won’t be seeing any Boy Wonders or Dark Knights on the TV screen for quite a while (insert sobbing emoticon).
So, it’s all over. We have to go back to getting excited for the animated Wonder Woman movie .

Stop right there bub. What do you mean ‘replace Smallville’. I live in a cave and have no idea what you are talking about! We buy the dvd sets when they are released and get our fix that way…it MUST stay on damn it.
Have you seen the British Robin Hood series/ is it good? We just netflixed it b/c they said ‘if you like Smallville you’ll like this’ and we thought we’d give it a try.
Can I join in that Sob. Those are my thursday night shows. Smallville and Supernatural! I could see an offshoot of The Green Arrow but were just getting into Clarks life at thd daily planet.
