TMI, RE: DCUO
I haven’t really talked about DC Universe Online , mainly because I have absolutely no hope for a DC video game that will blow me away.
The details on the game are still a little murky, with a tentative release date of December 2009 (insert skeptical emoticon). Jim Lee supposedly has a big role in the project, which is always a good thing to hear.

I don’t play a lot of online games — I detest even the slightest bit of lag — but the graphics for DCUO look pretty pretty and the video footage released thus far implies some very smooth gameplay. City of Heroes apparently got the superhero MMORPG thing right, so I guess it is entirely possible for this to work. I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I will keep this game in my peripheral vision.
You can check out the official site here and become MySpace friends with the game here (insert confused emoticon). Trailer here:
Anyways, the whole reason I started thinking of DC Universe Online was because I came across this batastic widget in my online travels:
Get used to it, because you’ll be seeing it on here until December 2009.
