Boldly Being Brave

Published by bill_finger at 8:33 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

We’re nineteen hours away from the West Coast premiere of Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Cartoon Network.  And we’re still not excited.

(insert unexcited emoticon)

It’s not that I’m always pessimistic about the Holy One’s TV and video game adaptations, it’s just that they usually suck balls.  The trailer makes it look like Teen Titans with Batman, and the theme music — although catchy — would be more appropriate if the Dark Knight was a British spy.  I’m also not sure how the series can do more than five episodes while keeping viewers’ interests in the B-list heroes — Blue Beetle, Green Arrow, Red Tornado, Aquaman, and Plastic Man.  I mean, how many die hard Plastic Man fans do you know?

But hey, I’ve been wrong before (insert link that shows I’ve been wrong before).  You can check out the official site here , where in addition to watching the latest promo, you can also download some wallpapers and play what they call a video game.  I’m not forcing you or anything.
