Keep It to Yourself, Bub

Here’s the deal: I won’t tell you not to download the leaked version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine (though you really shouldn’t), and in return you just have to avoid telling me any major spoilers from the film. Don’t get me wrong, I want to see this movie so badly I’d painfully have my entire skeletal system coated with the hardest metal known to man, but I want to see it the right way, on a two hundred foot screen with the all special effects included and a piece of half-chewed gum dangerously close to my new sneakers.
So, are we cool? Cool.

As a sidenote of reckless musing, with all the lack of media attention to the film and the ever-looming success of The Dark Knight in the minds of every movie studio, I can’t help but wonder, could 20th Century Fox have leaked this unedited version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine themselves solely for the publicity? (insert pondering emoticon)

I CANNOT WAIT to see the movie! I hope no one spoils it for you!! I think they need to do something for the publicity…maybe they did. Hopefully the leaked version is just crap.
I *love* wolverine and can’t wait to see it. BUT w/ a 16mo and no babysitter I trust I don’t go to theaters anymore
You have no idea how much it sucks to know I could download it now….stupid ethics.
Anywho the other reason I dropped by is to tempt you with Batman pony…

Thanks, Grandy. And thanks, Birdie, for showing me that it is possible to use the word “Batman” right next to the word “pony.” I’ll have to devote a whole post to this soon.
I wouldn’t put it past the production company. Are they really gaining profit from leaking their own motion picture. If it’s true I hope they make it up at the box office.
I can’t believe that a fox columnist actually downloaded it and admitted to downloading it.
