Superman is a Super Jerk
On the off chance that you’re not familiar with College Humor (and you call yourself an American?!), it behooves me to share with you this piece of gold from our generation’s Romantic poets of old. . . of our generation.
In this animated parody — what some may call a “cartoon” — of The Dark Knight, the Dark Knight comes face to face with the Man of Steel for the first time in what can only be called the awkwardest battle of the century. It can also be called a clusterfuck. Hilarity ensues.
And even though this apex of pop culture satire obviously hides yet another anti-bat bias, it cannot be denied just how funny it is. College Humor’s latest jab at the Unjabbable includes not only Superman, but also some cameo appearances by Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Darkseid, and Darkseid’s multidimensional space army-thing.
“What about magic rings? If you have any magic rings, you can use those.” Ha heh he.
Now go do something productive.
In Batman’s defense, he did beat Darkseid. I maintain that he was lulling him into a false sense of security
