Free Blog Post Day

Did everyone have a great Free Comic Book Day ? Did everyone score their free comics of Star Wars, Wolverine, The Simpsons, and the most valuable of all, Blackest Night , which you had to pry from the Cheeto-encrusted fingers of one unlucky twelve year old boy (insert nefarious emoticon)? Did everyone get to high five Wolverine at their local comic book store, or at least high five a registered sex offender who regularly wears a Wolverine costume and visits areas with large child populations?
Good.
Then by now you’ve probably read Blackest Night #0 cover to cover and you’re just as excited for the series to begin as a I am. Blackest Night will take a look at the various opposing teams of the Green Lantern Corps, which includes not only Sinestro’s Yellow Lanterns and the lovely ladies of the Star Sapphires, but even the new Skittle flavors of the Red Lanterns, Orange Lanterns, Blue Lanterns, Indigo Lanterns, and Black Lanterns.
Yes, it sounds completely juvenile and stupid, but after reading the first — or rather, zeroth – issue of this soon-to-be blogged-to-death-event, I am convinced that Blackest Night might just be the event to get people talking about DC again after the anti-climax known as Infinite Crisis. And it’s not just because the story will focus largely on Green Lantern Hal Jordan, nor because Geoff Johns writes a compelling argument for the event he refuses to call an “event,” nor because Carol Ferris looks super smokin’ hot in a Star Sapphire costume.

It’s because this series will be the long seen coming event that brings Batman back from the the “dead.” And Superman-2, and Superboy, and Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter, but who cares about them, right?
So, we’re all in agreement. We’re all going to be devoted followers of Blackest Night. Anyone know the best comic shops in Bulgaria ?

Black Lanterns are gonna be awesome!
I know, right?
